Expresii reviewer's Guide

When A Brush is really a Brush

In today’s painting apps, the notion of a ‘brush’ is often turned into a generic tool or ‘image hose’ that makes marks on the virtual canvas. The process is more like stamping or using ‘masking tape with designs’ instead of actual brushing.
This is fine as long as you prefer a more ‘designer’ approach.
In Expresii, a brush is a brush again.
"It doesn't replace Photoshop. I'm going back to Photoshop."
Expresii  is not meant to  replace any of the existing paint  programs.  Instead, it's meant to fill in the gap other paint apps missed.

Since it is new, Expresii lacks many of the  image manipulation functions  other apps have.  Therefore, we added the  function to export to  as PNG or PSD for your further image manipulation in other software tools.

Paint with Gradient

Although  an oil painting brush can pick up multiple colors  at once , it's not common for someone  trained in Western art to make use of multiple  colors per stroke.
