So, apart from the Amami Inker app, we have built a few more supporting web apps with the help of AI, all open-soruce and put under this github account. The XST Editor parses a XST (Expresii Stroke) file into strokes and lets you edit them. You can resize, rotate, delete one frame or the entire stroke. The Studio Helper is a web app for Chinese calligraphy practice — generating practice-grid templates (字格 / 信紙 / 扇面), converting photos to 線稿 line-art, stamping a seal (印章), and sprinkling decorative metallic flecks (金箔 / 銀箔). Everything runs in the browser. It can also send results straight into Expresii Paint as a painting underlay, overlay, or settled paint layer. The 3D calligraphy viewer is an interactive 3D viewer for Expresii brush-stroke files (.xst). It parses the stroke/expansion data, builds variable-width 3D brush geometry, and lets you orbit, zoom, replay the draw-in, and recolor strokes with realistic PBR materials — all in the browser, no build step. And if you are still reading, I just want to let you know that I'm still working on Western watercolor effects. I will show it when I finally get it done. It's not easy.
